#034 He belongs with me, Sarah Darlington

#034 26th June 2014- He belongs with me, Sarah Darlington

**I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review**

This book was not what I was expecting, I was kind of expecting a bride wars style romance but what I got was a deep and sensual romance and family love kind of story. I loved it.

The main characters are Maggie and Clara, twin sisters who are completely different. Maggie is a quiet and understated, she has just got out of a serious relationship, returns home and finds out her sister is seeing her ex. She turns to a local barman to come to a party with her only the barman has changed his name and is her first love. Clara is a loud and outgoing person who hides her emotions and is practically a closed book to everyone. She is dating her sisters ex in order to get revenge on him for cheating on her sister, she also has feelings for her sisters best friend and long time family friend.

There were lots of secondary characters the two love interests, Maggie's and Clara's father, Maggie's boss and Clara's best friend. And each added their own spin on the story and helped it progress, they were also involved in the development of the two main characters.

The pacing was good as there were no periods where I felt like nothing was happening and it did all kind of lead up to a climax.

The storyline was great and different to other books I've read. It was also well written as the characters were very realistic and they were written so convincingly that I almost thought they were real.

4.5 stars.
