#033 26th June 2014- Dream On, M Kircher
**I received this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP or Lovers of Paranormal)**
I found this book very confusing and difficult to understand. I think that's probably due to me reading it a short period of time but still I just really couldn't get away with it.
The main character is Em, she is a teenage girl living alone with her mother who is often absent due to her ability I walk through dreams. I found Em really quite annoying, I get that she was practically by herself a lot of the time and she was trying to save the boys by pushing them away but the way she did it made her seem rude and a bit like a spoiled brat.
Thhe secondary characters were her mother, love interest and her mother's book publisher. Her mother seemed the most understandable character and even she was annoying due to the fact she was so wrapped up in herself and her grief she couldn't function. And the love interest and book publisher seemed to get involved in the whole situation by force and blackmail making it highly difficult to understand why the female characters were falling head over heels in love with them.
The story pacing was ok,it seemed that the book had very little natural flow and everything was very stopy starty as if no real progress was actually being made. I also felt that the big seam sequence was also a little fast as if it had been jammed in at the last minute and needed to cover a lot of ground.
The storyline was a brilliant concept and I actually felt that this book could be really successful if some improvements on characters and pacing was made.
1.5 stars I'm very sorry just not a book for me.
