**Firstly I would like to thank the author for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review. The review is as follows.**

This book was a one which had me hooked from the very first page with an intricate and perfectly formed backstory for the characters. It was very well written and had me rooting for the characters from the start until the very last page. I was slightly disappointed with the ending but now I realise that it is part of a series so I will be purchasing the next book very soon J

The main characters are Cassie and Ethan; Cassie a shy inexperienced girl applying to acting school with Ethan as her partner, it is the third and final time he can audition for the school, the pair have chemistry straight away but following in the footsteps of traditional bad boys he warns her off him. Whereas Ethan is a bit of a bad boy with a past which holds him back from a relationship with Cassie. Then the two are cast as Romeo and Juliet in the schools play and they have to act intimate together throwing the relationship into a new dimension. The two are very indecisive and try to deny their attraction until they pretty much implode. The two characters are very good together however in the present day bits of the book they seem to be holding back because of their past. I hope they get together!

The storyline and pacing are awesome keeping me hooked the whole way through and making me want to read the rest of the series.

I will admit that I read this one first thus reading the series in the wrong order which will forever piss me off but didn’t make a lot of difference when it came to this book. The book was a really easy read which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The main characters are Ryan and Rachel; Ryan is a fully trained chef who moved home to look after his grandmother and Rachel is a newly divorced doctor who moved home to become a family doctor. The two meet at a bachelor auction where Rachel’s best friend bid for a meal cooked by Ryan for Rachel. The two grow close but with Ryan’s grandmother’s deteriorating health and Rachel’s plea for her to go into a home the two split up. Then it is very much how to get a girl with cakes.

The secondary characters include Rachel’s best friends who support Rachel throughout the book and even end up supporting Ryan in his attempt to get Rachel back. Ryan’s grandmother is also a huge secondary character in this book as she pretty much determines what Ryan is going to be doing.

The storyline was not unlike other books I’ve read but it was very easy to read and quick. The pacing was great and I especially liked the epilogue at the end of the book letting us know how the couple faired in the end.

4 stars a good read.

**Firstly I would like to thank the author for allowing me to read this for free in exchange for a review. Secondly I would like them to know that I thoroughly enjoyed it and that I have bought part 2 off amazon.**

What I loved most about this book was that there is no shortage of new boy crushes for a reader like me to get attached to and in this book they come in all shapes and sizes; bad boy vampires, warrior wolves and many more.

This is an alternating Point of view book but the other points of view are non-frequent since the book is very much centred on main character Infinity. Infinity at first comes across as a spoiled bratty musical performer with very few problems in life but as the story develops she actually turns into a character I enjoyed reading about. As a whole world of problems arise that she didn’t think existed she has to try to learn things for herself. But she is taken away by a guy to meet his family in time to leave us with plenty of suspense.

Secondary characters include Infinity’s mother Kara, werewolves Torch and Boulder, best friends Zoe and Diego and vampire Alik. In short there are a lot and I’m not wanting to comment on a few of them as they weren’t in the book for very much. I will however comment on Kara, Zoe and Diego as there was quite a lot of info on them. Kara is the adoptive mother of Infinity and she remains throughout the book to be holding back some of her mysteries and I do hope to get to the bottom of those mysteries. Zoe and Diego are Infinity’s best friends throughout the film; they share witty banter and made me smile more than a few times, in a book like this when there is a lot of stuff happening these two characters were the bits that made me giggle.

The storyline was very good but I thought towards the end of the book the pacing got to be a bit too much although it has left me wanting more and I will be reading the next in the series very soon.

5 stars I loved this book. Can’t wait to read book 2

This book was very different to what I am used to, the culture change between the two main characters I thought made it very different to other books I’ve read. I thought it was a very easy and quick read  that solely revolves around two characters.

The main characters are Shana and Bear, Shana wanting to become part of his life and culture and Bear looking for someone that will welcome both him and his family’s customs. I was fairly surprised to be reading about a woman who did not mind being in a relationship with someone who honestly and openly has other lovers and it was very refreshing.

The storyline and pacing were superb for such a short book giving us a real insight into the characters and a new twist on an overused concept.

A great quick book 4 stars

This book I felt was very fairy tale like, it had a mix of different aspects from numerous fairy stories that make it very easy to relate to as it is the kind of love story I grew up on, well except from the hot as hell books. It was very well written and an enchanting read that I could not put down.

The main character is Aurora, a very powerful although fairly nonthreatening character even though she has immense power. She lives in an isolated tower of trash in a smaller district of the country lives. When someone threatens the security of the land she lives in she is reintroduced to someone she used to know. I liked Aurora as a character as no matter how feeble or insecure she felt she could still hold her own in a fight; she is a perky and seemed determined to solve any problem she was faced with.

The secondary character I found to be most noteworthy is Edmund Rallis, it is his family who holds the seat of power within the region that Aurora is and while they had met before Aurora managed to escape him. He finds her again but it is at the same time as he finds his family fighting to retain control of the lands they are in charge of as there is a battle brewing with another.

The story line and pacing I thought were brilliant; the story line I found to be original and great fun to read and the pacing kept us guessing until the very last minute what would happen between our two characters who I hoped would turn out to be a couple.

4 stars a good read.

#128- Book 1- Eden’s Ore: secrets, B. V. Bayly

An interesting new concept that I found unlike other books I’ve read however I found the storyline to be too complex and the pacing to be slow.

The main character is Gabriel, a normal guy who’s mother died in a storm that ruined his family home and forces him to live with his estranged brother. The effects of the storm leave Gabriel with a white shard lodged in his chest, a problem that doesn’t seem to matter much until it gives him some new and unexplainable powers. This is where I think the book becomes too complex, as it seems like everyone but him knows about the mysterious powers of these shards and others like it. The book becomes almost a military operation with various groups of people involved in either using these shards or trying to destroy them. Gabriel as a character didn’t seem to have a whole lot about him and he was a bit spoiled but the premise of the story offers a lot of opportunities for his character to be developed.

The secondary characters I found most noteworthy in this book were Nate, the father figure in Gabriel’s life, Adin Gabriel’s estranged brother. Nate is in my opinion the most likeable character in this book as he seems to be level headed and very aware throughout unlike other characters who seem to stumble from one event to another. Adin is similar to Gabriel as he seems virtually unaware of all the things going around him. There are many other characters in this book however I got extremely confused by the storyline so can’t really recall them.

The storyline as stated previously was very confusing; it ultimately felt like there was too much going on and not much explanation for any of it. The pacing was also quite disappointing as it seemed to make the very complex storyline drag.

This book while had an interesting concept didn’t really follow through, sorry 2 stars.

#129- Book 2- Eden’s Ore: revelations, B. V. Bayly

This book follows on from the previous book and while it still has a story that continues on seems like an entirely different concept that I found incredibly difficult to follow.

The main character is again Gabriel and while we would expect a character in the second book in the series to have some development he has none. I found him to be worse than in the first book with nothing new to add to himself or his powers gained from the ore.

The secondary characters I found most noteworthy were Nate and Claire, Nate is almost the same as in the previous book except from in this book he takes on a much more serious role within his group again the ore. Claire in this book is somewhat of a love interest for Gabriel and attempts to give him more of human properties as the shard takes control of his life more.

The storyline and pacing in this book are the main problems; the storyline is even more complex than in the first and although the book is called revelations I thought nothing was revealed. The pacing made it very difficult to read this book as it was far too slow for there to be any significant storyline changes.

I’m really sorry this book was just not for me, 2 stars.

#125 Book 1- Meet me in the Silicone Valley

This was a very easy read and an extremely fun one.  It was a really well written book with an interesting storyline and very likeable characters that made it easy to fall in love with the story. In short I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next in the series.

The main character is Juliette, a young lady who has finished university and has moved home to live with a friend from high school. Her and friends from university who now work at the same company call themselves the princesses based upon their likeness to Disney princesses. The book centres on Juliette’s life and how she is managing being back at home with her friends after a summer in England with her now ex-boyfriend. As Juliette becomes emotionally attached to not one but two new characters in this book, it is a learning character for her who is usually the shy wallflower type. I loved the main character due to how she is written, like she could very easily be a real life person and that her characteristics made her very likeable.

The secondary characters include Cassie, The Princesses, Zach and Nate. Cassie is the friend from high school although there is bad blood there involving a boy Juliette had a crush on and Cassie stole away, the two in this book are living together showing readers two people from completely opposite end of the scales with opposite personalities. The princesses are Juliette’s friends from university; they are called the princesses due to their likeness to Disney characters including Princess Jasmine, Mulan, Snow White and Merida. There are a lot of different characters included in the group of people referred to as the princesses however they all seem to have similar characteristics. They all seem to be very loud and willing to talk about their sexual experiences, almost the opposite to Juliette. Zach is a character also known as abs guy, he is a swimmer in the same place as Juliette and first comes to the reader’s attention in a sexy dream Juliette is having; the two characters go on to have a date. Nate is a doctor who attends to Juliette after an injury in a sporting game; the two characters go on to sext each other pictures of their bodies and then go on a date.

The storyline and pacing are superb leaving us with a cliff-hanger and desperate to know which of the two guys Juliette is involved with is going to contact her. The storyline I thought was very original and extremely fun to read and the pacing gave us a great intro into the characters and then brought us on a journey with them.

I loved this book, 5 stars. 

#126 Book 2- Kiss me in the Silicone Valley

Another really easy read that was fun and got me in the mood for summer and all the excitement it brings. This series so far has been a new and enjoyable read with really fun and lifelike characters that I find very easy to fall into. Anyone who has been to university and can identify their friendship group using characters from TV or film will like me recognise and fall in love with the characters in this book.

The main character in this book is Juliette, in this book she is still struggling with the two men in her life and is trying to balance these men with the help of her university friends ‘the princesses’.  Juliette in this book goes through tremendous character development and turns from small wallflower to a slightly more confident version of that person and I expect there will be more growth in the next book.

The secondary characters include all of the princesses, Cassie the roommate, Nate the hot doc and Zach the swimmer. The princesses as always are supportive in their own way and have issues going on in their own life however they still make the effort to see each other regularly and catch up in what is going on in each other’s lives. Cassie is still a pain in the arse and attention seeker and is still in some kind of relationship with the same guy from the first book. Nate is a lot more present in this book with him and Juliette dating on a more serious level whereas Zach gets side tracked a little bit.  

The pacing and storyline in this book make it more enjoyable. And the character development through these first two books shows that this series still have a lot to offer can I can’t wait for book 3 in the series to see who our leading lady will choose.

#127 Book 3- Be with me in the Silicone Valley

This was another easy read although even at the start of this book it is fairly easy to see who is going to win the battle for Juliette’s love life. This book also differs greatly from the first two as it moves more along the lines of a traditional romance book which the first two try to stray from; but I felt like this was a good move because at this stage I already knew how great the characters were.

The main character as in the other two books Juliette; in this book she very much invests her time in dating Nate, and adding a few steamy moments into the mix allowing readers see even more intense character development on Juliette’s part. I’ve grown to love the realness of this character throughout the first two books and now in this book I feel like all ends have been tied up nicely, while I would like to read more about her and Nate as a couple and what happens in their relationship next.

The secondary characters are the same as in the other two books although with the book being more centred on Juliette and Nate than their relationships with other characters they were not mentioned as much in this book.

The storyline and pacing in this book are very different to the others in the series; it didn’t feel like there was very much going on other than the steamy parts with Nate and the character development with Juliette.

3.5 stars, I just thought taking this book in another direction made it a less of an easy read.

This was another long awaited book in the Others of Edenton series, I’m amazed by this author’s ability to get readers gripped on a character that we actually know very little about and then when they get their own book all expectations we could ever have about that character is blown right out of the water. In short I thought this book was fantastic!

The main characters are Lincoln and Victoria, these are both characters that have persevered through 5 + other books before they could live out their own story. I have been waiting for Victoria’s book since meeting this character in the first book and it by no means disappointed. The two characters have their own very unique backstory that is fantastically written in this book. The characters come together in this book, a long awaited coupling, and makes the audience fall in love with them all over again.

As always in this series there are many secondary characters however I am not going to review them because they will either have already been reviewed from a previous book or might be reviewed later on in a book of their own.

The pacing and storyline as always are brilliantly original and add something new to Edenton. These are the types of books that I will never get tired of, and I cannot wait to read the next one, whenever that may be.

#119- 2.5 Fated Love

This was a quick little intro on a new set of characters not spanning from the group that have been brought to Edenton previously which included Ness, Fallon and Ameythst. It brings in a whole new seeding place for characters to join Edenton from.

The main characters are Christian and Delilah, Christian is some kind of psychic and Delilah being quite normal until being turned into a werewolf. This book was only short so I didn't get as much of an intro to the characters as I would have liked but I have a feeling I'm going to learn more in the next book.

The secondary characters as said before in my reviews for this series are there however I'd like to reserve reviewing until I know or not whether they're going to have their own book.

The pacing and storyline in this book was just a great snippet of the goodness that may be to come in the next book.

4 stars.

#120- 3 Falling into place

I have to say I’m loving this series and the twists and turns offered in each book and that each book is completely different to the others. This book is split into two parts, the first part is about the past of the main characters and how they come to know each other and the second part is the present in Edenton where the main characters are still together but not in the way they want to be.

The main characters in this book are Liz, Tremaine and Robert; Liz and Tremaine are the characters introduced in the first part of this book, when Tremaine saves Liz from a terrible situation and since then has made it his personal mission to look after her. The two are undeniably attracted to each other however don’t see it themselves, even when everyone around them does. Robert is already involved in a physical relationship with Liz and the addition of Tremaine doesn’t seem to dissuade him in any way. The three engage on a physical relationship together and allow readers to really get to know the three main characters and allow them to bond together.

As always in this series there are many secondary characters however I am not going to review them because they will either have already been reviewed from a previous book or might be reviewed later on in a book of their own.

The pacing and storyline; I am being pleasantly surprised every time I start a  new book in this series due to the diverse characters and storylines to go with these characters. This book was a fantastic addition to the series offering a not seen before relationship between 3 characters rather than the 2 character relationships seen in other books.

4 stars an exciting read.

#121- 4 Breaking free

This is my favourite book in this series so far it is in my opinion on a completely different league with a brilliantly in depth storyline, fantastic characters. I found it to be a gripping book that pulled me in from the very first page and didn’t let me go until the last.

The main characters are Jamie and Devlin, Jamie has been featured in a few other books in this series meaning that I had very much been waiting for her story to come out. Devlin is a mysterious character who has only ever appeared to Jamie in a dream; that is until he travels to meet her in person. The two main characters surprise everyone around them as they learn that not only is Devlin real and related to Fallon but Jamie and Devlin are mates.

As always in this series there are many secondary characters however I am not going to review them because they will either have already been reviewed from a previous book or might be reviewed later on in a book of their own.

The storyline and pacing for this book I felt set it completely aside from other books in this series, this book is by far my favourite in the series so far probably because of the completely different storyline and characters.

This series just goes from strength to strength 5 stars for this book.

#122- 5 mending scars

This was my long waiting Dacia book and I was not disappointed with it coming in as my second favourite book in this series. In other series’ it would be around this book that I would be getting bored however I am by no means anywhere near being bored, just call me officially hooked on this series.

The main characters are Dacia and Preston, Dacia is a long featuring character in this book and has been my favourite character since pretty much the start so I was more than pleased when she finally got her own book and love interest. This book is very much a story of the growth of two long serving characters as they find each other as well as fight their demons. I thought this was very much a fantastic addition to the series and everything I wanted from a story about my favourite character.

As always in this series there are many secondary characters however I am not going to review them because they will either have already been reviewed from a previous book or might be reviewed later on in a book of their own.

The pacing and storyline were superb with their own and completely new and different storyline to others in the series. The pacing kept the book gripping and I could not put it down and the storyline meant that I was on the edge of my seat waiting and guessing what the outcome was going to be until the very last minute.

5 stars, a fantastic read

#123- 5.5 Labour of love

This was just a quick addition and honestly I’m not entirely sure where this fits into the series or whether we will be reading more from these characters although I would love to know where this couple end up in the long term.

The main characters are Darla and Tomahawk a couple who got together in the beginning of this series of books however due to strange circumstances Darla leaves. It leaves Tomahawk moody and a mess and Darla soon realises she is pregnant and misses Tomahawk desperately. That is when Darla’s mother intervenes and brings the two together at a masquerade ball. I would love to read more about these two and their kid so please bring out their book soon.

As always in this series there are many secondary characters however I am not going to review them because they will either have already been reviewed from a previous book or might be reviewed later on in a book of their own.

The storyline and pacing are great, especially for such a short book. I found that this book was excellently done having a beginning middle and end which I think is impressive for a short story. I also thought the storyline was very refreshing and easy to read, I found this book to be a great pit stop in the series.

A great short read 4 stars. 

#115- #118 Others of Edenton box set book 1-2, Brandy L Rivers

#115 Book 0.5- New beginings, Brandy L Rivers

This was a great book to set up a foundation for the rest in the series to follow. It was also a great standalone book with decent characters that dragged the reader into the book and into the story.

The two main characters are Jess and Slater, Jess a werewolf desperate to escape her ass of an alpha and Slater the Alpha she runs to. The two feel a bond towards each other and although they try to deny it soon enough they can’t stay away from each other. With the looming threat of a deranged member of the pack looking to become Alpha by killing Slater and putting Jess at risk the two become inseparable. The two characters are unlike characters in other books I’ve been reading as neither one of them are looking for love.

The secondary characters include Brody, Victoria and Gregory while there are lots of other characters these are the ones I found most noteworthy in this book. Brody is a higher up member of the pack and practically Slater’s right hand man, he is also a great friend to Jess as she gets settled in her new life at Edenton. Victoria is Slater’s vampire lover, she is the person who has been there for Slater forever and is still happy enough to advise Slater to go after Jess. Gregory is Jess’s old alpha the one who she is so desperate to get away from that she moves to Edenton.

The storyline and pacing while similar to other books I’ve read from the paranormal genre however it did have the big difference of being inclusive of other paranormal species, not just werewolves. I think the inclusion of these characters will be a big feature of the books as it gives the series more than one path that can be taken. I also liked that there was a slight twist at the end that I didn’t see coming.

I would give this book a 4.5 star rating and I think I read it at just the right time when I needed a break from other types of books. On to book 2; In Too Deep

#116 Book 1- In too deep, Brandy L Rivers

 This book had a lot more going on than the first one; there were many levels and new challenges that the characters have to face.

The book is focused on Fallon and Brody; characters we were first introduced to in ‘New Beginings’. Fallon is a very tattooed friend of Jess, after a bad break up with her boyfriend she decides to move to the town Edenton with Jess. There she finds Brody, a good friend of Jess and a character we know quite well from the previous book. Brody is a man grieving the death of his wife until he meets Fallon after that Fallon pretty much consumes his every thought and wish. Pretty soon, the two characters get together however with a vampire gang causing a menace of themselves Brody and Fallon will have to put up a fight to stay together.

There are lots of secondary characters in this book but since I think a lot of them mentioned in this book are going to have a book based on them later in the series I am just going to wait until I read deeper into them in their own books.

The storyline was very imaginative and I liked how the author brought in the ancient feud between vampires and werewolves to cause a problem between the two main characters. The pacing was excellent introducing the characters well and giving them sufficient time to get to know each other and fall in love before making them a proper couple and adding in the next problem in their relationship.

4 stars a really good book

#117 Book 1.5- Shadows fall, Brandy L Rivers

This was a fun and quick read about a character I would very much like to read more on and who I expect will come up in other books in this series.

The main character is Amethyst, she is a nymph with a difficult ex boyfriend who just does not seem to want to give her up and is causing problems in her life. She is on the brink of deciding whether or not to move to Edenton to get away from her problems.

There were some secondary characters however I think they will be expanded on in their own books.

The storyline and pacing were good keeping readers hooked from the very first page. I found the storyline to be refreshing and simplistic, possibly leading up to the next book in the series but still enjoyable. The pacing was very fitting to such a short book and it allowed readers to gain a true interest in the characters.

4.5 star stars, a really good quick read.

#118 Book 2- Shadows of the past, Brandy L Rivers

This book has expanded an already wide universe massively and I think I am beginning to fall in love with the town the series is set around. I do wonder however just how many people the author can fit in one place. In this book I also began to feel bad for one of the secondary characters who as of yet do not have a book based upon them.

This book expands on the character in the previous book Amethyst and an existing member of the town members, Hayden. It is practically a follow on from the book ‘Shadows Fall’ as it picks up from the predicament Amethyst is facing at the end of the book. In this book however she meets Hayden a police officer from Edenton who intrigues her instantly and the two become involved; with a new risk being brought to this small town it challenges the new relationship between Amethyst and Hayden.

The secondary characters in this book are again similar to in the rest of the series and I think some of them will have books based on them; however I do want to note that in this book I felt bad for Dacia and Clint and I seriously think they either need to find their mates soon or get together.

The pacing and storyline were great; the storyline was brilliantly original and the pacing kept me interested until the very last page.

An enjoyable read 4.5 stars

This was quite a typical book about college love, it’s the kind of book which I can read millions of and still not get bored of. There were however with this book a few issues with the main characters that I didn’t quite understand and thought were blown out of proportion but these did not detract from the reading experience and I would still put it down as a good read.

The book was written in the POV of the two main characters Stella and Tucker; Stella is a small town girl who is leaving home to go to college for the very first time. Whereas Tucker is a rich kid who feels he is entitled to every girl he comes across, he makes a game of using then then leaving them. Stella is at her first college party when she meets Tucker and gets caught in his trap; it’s from there that the couple become close until a party where Tuckers game is ended, he gets what he wants from Stella and then following his normal protocol acts as if it’s nothing. This causes massive fallout which leads to Tucker screw up royally separating the couple for what feels like forever. I quite liked Tucker as a character, but then I always like a bad boy with a damaging past. But I really could not get away with Stella, firstly I don’t really get the high school boyfriend drama screwing a person up that badly and then she kind of turned into a bitch and a bit of a bully to her ex-boyfriend and Gabby.

The secondary characters I felt noteworthy included Honor, Nora, Sloan and Grayson. Honor is Stella’s best friend from home who goes to Brown with her, the two have a very close relationship almost sisters and it remains this way throughout the book. Nora is the unexpected roommate of Stella and Honor, she is very self-absorbed but a relatively nice girl who maybe just needs to make a break from her normal life. Sloan is the loving boyfriend of Honor, he is a really good guy however for some reason is still good friends with Stella’s ex. Grayson is a housemate of Tucker and the person who helps him in his conquest for women; only with Stella something went wrong and Grayson attacks Stella.

The storyline is similar to other books I’ve read and the pacing is good, leaving it till later on in the book to know what happens between the two main characters. I liked that there was a build up introducing Stella however I think this book might have benefitted from a chapter on how the relationship fared in the long run.

This book was a lot more than I thought it would be and I loved it! It’s a book with so many levels, that it kept me hooked until the very last page with the storyline and characters growing and building to be more of an epic adventure than a love story. In short this book is definitely being added to my favourites and I do hope this is going to be a series since I have very much fallen in love with the characters; I will also be looking into more books by this author.

This book is a one that changes perspective so there are a lot of main characters, this list of main characters consist of Genie, Reid, Jinn Kuru (sorry I can’t get the accent above first ‘U’), Mark and Brad Sanchez. Genie is a genie, she has been locked inside her bottle for a while and when let out by Reid is more than willing to help his odd predicament and fall in love with him. Reid opens his friend Mark’s bottle and discovers Genie, a sexy woman who will wait on his every command and help him out of his alcohol soaked ways; he can’t help but fall in love with her. Jinn Kuru is by far my favourite character, I mean who wouldn’t fall for this big bad; Genie, Jinn is scorned by Genie’s rejection and has made it a mission to have her. Mark is the best friend of Reid and honestly this is the character that I had the most problems connecting to, until he falls for Genie’s sister that is. Brad Sanchez is a member of the FBI he is a problem for Genie and Reid for the majority of the book but swaps sides at the last minute. The main characters are a great mix and they all offer new things for the book and the storyline.

The secondary characters I felt most noteworthy are Cassie and Selena; the lack of female main characters means that the majority of the secondary characters are female to balance the story out and offer love interests. Cassie has links throughout the book with numerous characters; firstly she traps Jinn and blocks his powers, then it turns out she is Reid’s brother, she is absolutely crazy and hell bent on revenge but she is aa great character that I feel added a lot to the story. Selena is Genie’s sister who Mark falls for; she is a genie and a great addition to the book.

The storyline and pacing are superb as the storyline evolves the pacing is expertly done to allow time for character development and new information to come to light surrounding the storyline and the characters involved. I thought the storyline was brilliant and completely unexpected to me to be so in depth and gripping that I found it very difficult to put it down.

I really loved this book and look forward to reading more by this author.

This book was a fun, quick read which I used as an excuse to not to work; however eventually work did catch up which is why it took me so long to read. It was a very enjoyable read which well and truly put me in the mood for my summer holidays.

The two main characters are Ash ad Milla, Ash is a recently retired rugby player who’s only once let a woman get to his heart. Milla is the blast from Ash’s moment of weakness; the two are reunited at Ash’s retirement party and offers him a job in America with her. The affection between the couple grows and it is found out that Milla had Ash’s child and she is at the rugby camp Ash comes to coach at. The book is very much based around the love these two characters share for each other and the mistakes they feel they have made; I loved it. And the two characters were very easy to love despite everything they feel are faults.

There are a few secondary characters however since the book is focused on the two main characters, in my opinion they were not really noteworthy.

The pacing and storyline I thought were excellent. The pacing was good giving the readers enough suspense to wonder what would happen between the couple in the end. The storyline was similar to other story’s I have read however not enough that I knew what would happen in the end. I am curious about the rest of the books in this series as this is the first book in the series I have read, so I would be interested in reading the rest of the series and then rereviewing this book.

A really good read 4 stars.

This was a fantastically imaginative book based upon magic and the a young girl as she learns how to use magic properly. It was a new take on a story that we think we’ve all heard before; the story is well told and gripping and takes the whole mentor / tutor relationship to a whole new level.

The main characters were the mage Thabit and Nin; when Nin is found to have a mark on her hand she is sent to the mage Thabit. Though Nin seems to be an ordinary non magical person when she is sent to Thabit however he finds work for her in the kitchen cooking and cleaning for him. When she begins developing her power he becomes more and more interested and they begin a relationship. The two of them fight together to face something horrible happens to the people around them Thabit is forced to journey to another realm and Nin has to save him. The two main characters are very well written as the author takes you on the journey along with the characters.

While there are a few noteworthy secondary characters in this book they are not a big factor in the story as it very much centres on the two main characters.

The storyline and pacing are very good as they go together in building tension and keeping the reader at the edge of their seat until the very end. I really liked the suspense and lead up to the two main characters getting together and then when they actually came together which I felt was very much worth waiting for.

I’m still unsure of what to make of this book- I don’t know whether it’s because I’ve joined the series at book 6 or that it just wasn’t my kind of book. I do intend to start the series from book 1 and read all the way through at one point because I felt the book showed promise but I don’t know when that will be. All in after a first reading of this book I think I just really didn’t get it and because of this I think I just skim read the last half of the book meaning I didn’t really understand what was going on.

There are a lot of characters in this book and I wasn’t sure who was supposed to be a main character or a secondary characters so I’m just going to tell you about the characters I found most noteworthy. Firstly there’s Aaron a vampire who always seems to get in trouble and then worm his way into bed with multiple gorgous women. Michelle is my second most noteworthy character a vampire and a femme fatale attracting attention wherever she goes. Katya is a werewolf bloodslave whose niece is a bloodslave to bad guy Dimitri giving her a score that she needs to settle.

The pacing and storyline are as mentioned before  slightly confusing but I think that is because I found it difficult to read since I started at book 6.

I wish I had more to say about this book but I will be sure to come back and read it after I’ve read the previous books in the series so this review is subject to change. I am so sure of this that I have bought book 1 off amazon with the intent of starting it this weekend.

This is a book I have really loved reading and in fact I have gone on to buy the next in the series from Amazon. The fantastic characters, plot and new fantasy world sucked me straight into the heart of this story which Is where I remained from start to end. This book is an instant favourite and I can't wait to get stuck into the next book.

The main character is Elena, a normal girl whose life consists of staying on the road with her paranoid father until the night comes where he is killed and she is whisked off to a fantasy kingdom where dragons exists. Elena has to fit in with all the new things happening in her life as well as deal with the death of her father. Then a mystical item is stolen and she goes off on a quest to retrieve it; I absolutely loved reading this book. I also thought Elena's character was a great female lead although she does spend the majority of this book feeling lost she does come through brilliantly at the end.

There are a lot of secondary characters so I'm going to focus on the ones I feel are most noteworthy, these are Becky, Sammy, Lucien and Blake. Becky and Sammy are Elena's roommates, Becky is a normal girl except for the fact that she is one day going to have to tame her Dragon mate. Sammy is a dragon herself, sister of Blake she is concerned about his inner dragon’s strength and that he will need to be tamed soon. Lucien is the Prince of the region, he is a dragonian and he has set his heart on taming Blake since they were best friends when younger. Blake is a dragon who holds the most powerful one of a kind Dragon inside his human body; he is under a strain that if he doesn't find his dragonian soon then his dragon will control him.

The storyline was brilliantly original introducing a completely new fantasy experience for readers to get sucked into. The pacing was great however I do feel that it left a lot up to the very last minute not giving the readers very much time to recover from the exciting last 3 chapters but it did leave me wanting more.

I would recommend this book to everyone, a great read 5 stars.

This story is a great read, with fantastic characters and an interesting plot- however I'm not unconvinced that I've read it before. Maybe it means that I need to swap genres for a while until I get back into these kinds of books. Just to clarify I did enjoy reading it but I feel like it is very similar to a few other books I've read recently.

The main characters are Cammile and Deslin, Cammile is new to university and living with friends who both shared a terrible experience with this one boy and now he's interested in her. Deslin has any number of girls who would come to him whenever and wherever he asked but he's really only interested in the one girl who always seems to say no. When the two fall in love it seems only right that all of Deslin's past conquests want to get in the way and when one breaks them up for what seems like forever Cammile runs home. These two characters are very similar to all other characters in books like this.

The secondary characters include Avery, Thalia and Hailey. Avery is Cammile's best friend and Deslin's roommate he offers advice and although does not like the couple at first comes round to them in the end. Thalia and Hailey are Cammile's two roommates that have been accounted by Deslin, since Cammile is the youngest out of them they are almost disorderly characters to her; like Avery they do not like the match at first but again grow to it.

The pacing and storyline are good however like I said before I'm sure I've read this book before because it is so similar to other books like it.

This book was very easy to read, full of adventure and a great romance that is timeless and easy to get hooked on. It was a first in the series book and sets up an awesome group of characters and a nice environment for them to live in that will make other books in this series which I hope there are easy to understand and get involved in.

The main characters are Bern and Jenna; Bern is a big bear shifter, a Sippe (alpha) of a bear tribe in a small town called Honey Corner. The book is set in a world where shifters have made themselves known instead of hiding. Jenna comes to Honey Corner for a job in the reception class at the local school; she is in a shop buying honey when she first meets Bern who instantly claims her as his mate. The relationship between the two characters is fast and full on as it is with many shifter romance books. I liked the two main characters both independently and as the couple that they ultimately become.

The secondary characters I feel most noteworthy are Julia, Alice and Hans. Julia is Bern’s sister and part of his pack, she is very supportive of both the main characters and their decision to be together. Alice is Jenna’s best friend, she is supportive of Jenna as she embarks upon the relationship with Bern however is unable to accept her own fate when she meets her mate. Hans is the pack member who is lookout to Jenna they have a funny sort of relationship between almost like they’re good friends with them being able to joke however his relationship with Bern is completely different.

The pacing is very good adding in a threat that can be followed throughout the whole story into this book as well as a great environment and group for other books to use as a stepping stone. The storyline is very similar to other shifter romance books.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. (LOP or Lovers of Paranormal on Goodreads) 

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and although it is the fourth in the series after reading this book I will be going back to read the rest of the books in the series. It was obvious that the other books are based on some of the other couples that are secondary characters in this book which has made me want to read them all.

The main characters are Rose and Xavier these two characters are brought together due to the fact that they are each other’s mate. This book was all about them two finding each other and getting through the issues they face together.

There were a lot of characters in this book which added to the story brilliantly giving helpful insights into problems the main characters are facing. I am very much looking forward to reading more of the books in this series so that I can get a better understanding of the other characters in this series.

The pacing and storyline were great and they worked perfectly together. The pacing kept us guessing what the outcome of the story would be until the very last minute. And the storyline for me was brilliantly original and it was brilliantly written keeping readers hooked and invested in the storyline.

4 stars a really great read and I will definitely read the rest in this series

This book is a fantastic retelling of a classic story with a twist. It was expertly written being short in length but bit in storyline having numerous things happening to the main characters as they embark on a great journey.

The main characters are Snow White and Red Rose and I am so happy to say that Red Rose is finally in a book that truly gives her a story of their own. In this book Red and Snow are independently living out of the castle that is normally Snow White’s home. The two sisters are very different with Snow being happy staying in the same place and Red being happy to wander and go on adventures. The two characters I felt were fantastically written and kept me hooked on the adventure they go on together.

The secondary characters I felt most noteworthy are the dwarf and the fairy godmother. These two characters are driving influences in the book as they are characters who drive the twins to go on their adventure. They also help the twins along the way in terms of offering advice and helpful hints and tips.

The pacing and storyline are great as they offer something different. The pacing in a short book is I think a challenge to get right since there is less space to have the same impact on the readers but I do think this book aces it giving us a great story and keeping us wanting to read more about the characters. The storyline is also very original and unlike anything I have ever read to do with one or more of these characters; I very much enjoyed the twist on this classic tale.

4 stars a really great read- I’d recommend this book to everyone.
