I
great story that I hope will lead me into a new and exciting fantasy world that
will consume my thoughts for hours after reading.
The central character is of course Sofia, a teenager girl brought into a story that will change her life for as long as she can make the right decisions. Sofia is a pretty ordinary girl like us becoming completely submerged in her books as every leading lady should in my opinion until a boy she dreams about manifests himself in her town. Ar'ch an annoying yet sexy boy who is so full of himself that even in the dream world shared between him and Sofia you kind of wish you could throw a bucket of cold water over to bring him back to reality- and then watch as he stripped off of course. Ar'ch and his brother Angel come to Sofia's town in the hope that she is the saviour they've been tasked to find. The relationship between Ar'ch and Sofia escalate in the dream world while out of her dreams Sofia is a loyal and committed girlfriend to Rafe. The relationship between Sofia and Rafe is at a standstill even at the very start, he is pretty much a friend who should've never made it out of the friend zone in my opinion as there is no heat/ passion. This is a complete stark contrast to the relationship between Sofia and Ar'ch.
The secondary characters such as Angel, Rafe, Mel Sofia's mother and race's mother are not really explored as much as they could've been in this first book but I do hope we get to learn more about the mothers and Angel in the next instalment.
The pacing was great giving us plenty of time to get to know the main characters and developing a good build up before the kick ads action starts.
The story line was inventive giving readers a completely new experience and new world to imagine.
A really good read will definitely be looking out for next in the series 3 stars.
